Our association is made up of 1.4 million members in 49,000 clubs who bring hands and hearts to the communities we serve in nearly every country on earth. Our Lions and Leos help hundreds of millions of people every year.

Our mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers and partners to improve health and wellbeing, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian service and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understand. And we fulfill it every day, everywhere we serve.
PHOENIX PHIL-AM LIONS CLUB
The Phoenix Phil-Am Lions Club is part of an international network who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Charles Irion is currently President of the Club for the 2019-2020 Lion Year. He has previously held positions of 2nd Vice President in 2016, Director in 2013 and before that he was previously a President and Treasurer of an affiliated club, the Barangay Lions, in 2002. The Phil-Am Lions Club is part of one of the world’s largest service club organizations, Lions Clubs International. Irion has participated in several cataract medical missions in Benjamin Hill, Sonora, Mexico – which they perform regularly. Everywhere the club volunteers go, they make friends and communities get better. The club helps wherever help is needed, whether it’s in their own communities or around the world, with unmatched energy and integrity.
