Project C.U.R.E. Hospital Assessment in Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland)

Updated: Apr 26

Love! = Daniel and Hanna Kim and family my hosts, guides and missionaries this week! For 13 years here from South Korea they have woven their family into the fabric of needy children here. Any child who is hungry, abandoned or abused is taken under their wings and given much needed Christian love and care. These past 2 days have been filled with tears of joy by staff and kiddos as we brought much needed food and necessities into several orphanages and feeding schools. Also I met with several government ministers who openly welcomed the healthcare projectcure.org is bringing to the new hospital I inspected!

A bit more on the HYM Clinic: "Heeyeon Memorial Clinic began construction in 2021 by Pastor Seung-beom Kim, a missionary to South Africa sent by the General Assembly, and his older brother, Deacon Han-gi Kim (medical missionary to Eswatini), as a legacy left behind by his sister Seong-yeon Kim, who donated her organs and passed away in an unexpected accident in 2019. It is being built on a total of 840 square meters (approximately 250 pyeong) of land donated by a local chief, and is scheduled to be completed with internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, dentistry, emergency surgery room, gastrointestinal endoscopy room, clinical laboratory, radiology room, and pharmacy." (Korean Christian Gazette 3/27/2023) "After construction, the clinic will be operated in cooperation with the Eswatini Government as a public medical facility."
